Brief Description:
The Solid Waste Environmental Management Project addressed environmental challenges related to waste disposal in southern West Bank. The project financed feasibility studies and environmental and social impact assessments for the development of a sanitary landfill facility serving Hebron and Bethlehem municipalities. These studies helped identify environmentally sustainable waste management solutions. The project provided the technical foundation for later investments in modern waste management systems.
