Brief Description:
Municipal Development Program Phase II expanded the performance-based municipal financing system introduced during Phase I. The program supported municipalities in implementing infrastructure investments aimed at improving municipal services, including roads, drainage systems, and public facilities. In addition to infrastructure development, the program strengthened municipal institutional capacity through improvements in financial management, procurement procedures, and planning systems. These interventions contributed to improving the efficiency and sustainability of municipal service delivery.
